B-Scada Provides Retrofit Monitoring Solution for Irrigation System
Tuesday, June 30, 2015

CRYSTAL RIVER, FL: B-Scada, Inc. has announced a recent deployment of their VoT Platform at a large U.S. educational facility. The customer is using commercial-grade pulse meters to measure the flow in a large irrigation system. This has allowed for greater control over water consumption, allowing the customer to manage the system remotely through web-based dashboards.

Without the ability to find low-cost sensors and monitoring technology, it is unlikely that the budget-conscious customer would have been able to implement the management system he had in mind. Replacing old equipment with new equipment that includes flow meters and modern technology would have been cost-prohibitive. This is yet another example of how B-Scada has lowered the barrier for entry into the IoT (Internet of Things).
